Hertfordshire County Council in partnership with 20 organisations from the voluntary and community sector across Hertfordshire have been successful in securing funding from the Big Lottery Building Better Opportunities Fund (BBO). BBO is the result of the Big Lottery matching funds from the European Social Fund for projects across England that tackle poverty and promote social inclusion.
In Hertfordshire our partnership is delivering three projects across the county that help to address barriers into employment. All projects started in October 2016 and will run for a period of 3 years. There is a possibility that the project may be extended. YC Hertfordshire is currently recruiting for the position of Herts Youth Futures Specialist Mentor within the project. The BBO Project welcomes applications from all members of the community.
