E-Procurement Systems Support Officer
Starting Salary: £34,938 pa progressing to £35,772 pa (PO1)

We are looking for 3 dynamic individuals with experience of working in strategic procurement and systems environment, to join our newly shaped Strategic Procurement Hub. The Procurement Hub is responsible for management and development of the Council’s electronic Source –to- Settlement systems and plays a key role in ensuring governance, compliance and good practice within both the procurement community and wider Council, providing technical support for EU tenders, and advice on national frameworks and Council’s local procurement procedures. Candidates will ideally have demonstrable experience of working within a public sector procurement environment and engaging collaboratively with a diverse range of cross functional teams.
You should be an effective communicator and have the ability to prioritise and organise a busy workload.
As e-Procurement Systems Support Officer you will provide support and assistance to the e-procurement function of Hackney Procurement Service. Responsible for provisioning comprehensive administrative support for the effective operation of the e-procurement systems and processes
The post will provide support for the continuous improvement of the Council’s procurement systems, tools and related processes including:
- e-contract management
- e-catalogues and purchasing (CedAr)
- e-invoicing and self-billingThe role will be required to provide:
- support for the management of suppliers master data on the Council’s supplier database,
- production of report for Freedom of Information (FOI) reporting, and
- helpdesk support for the e-procurement systems
