Social Work Team Manager – Referral and Assessment

As a team manager within our referral and assessment team, what we call the front door, you will lead, support and mentor a group of social care professionals and support staff. You will work to improve the quality of professional social work practice across the breadth of the casework cycle; whilst promoting a positive working culture, maintaining the highest standards of practice; and empowering others to do the same.

For this role you will need to be an HCPC registered social worker with a professional social work qualification, or equivalent, and at least four years' experience. You will need to have direct management experience within children's social services where you can demonstrate strong and successful leadership and the ability to maximise the potential of others and implement service improvements.
