The Care and Support Directorate has a portfolio of over 2,500 homes, 190 staff and specialises in the provision of - retirement housing including extra care, supported housing for vulnerable young people, young parents and people with disabilities and much more.

As part of the Care & Support senior management team you will ensure that the Directorate achieves its strategic ambitions.
We are currently looking to recruit to a newly created role in what is an exciting period within our Care & Support directorate. Our new Head of Business Development will be responsible for developing and securing new business opportunities and tasked with increasing revenue. You will work closely with our director and support to create a strategy for growth. You will be responsible for the subsequent planning and implementation of business development initiatives and projects to achieve financial targets. You will have responsibility for managing the tender process for new and existing business and overseeing our compliance and risk.
You will be responsible for a team that includes our Business Improvement Manager, Service Development Manager and Leasehold Service Manager.
We are looking for a senior management professional who has a proven ability to work as part of our senior management team, you will be passionate about building a sustainable business and working with others to achieve shared objectives. You will have a keen eye for exciting opportunities and help us to identify and secure opportunities for new revenue and growth in our Care & Support services.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proven track record of preparing and delivering persuasive, high quality, written and verbal reports to Group board level and externally.
