Homes for Haringey have an excellent opportunity for a Policy Projects Officer to join the HR team.

The primary purpose of the role is to research and draft HR policy and practice notes in order that our processes support the Council's Equality and Diversity agenda, which in turn informs the design and implementation of the workforce programme to create an inclusive workplace.

This post will require you to come on-board a 6 month contract and hit the ground running. Your role will include researching and drafting updates to the Council's HR policies to reflect Homes for Haringey values and best practice. You will also work closely with other departments to include Communications, IT and HR colleagues to help formulate a comprehensive calendar of events that publicise, promote and expound the Council's HR policies particularly those aspects which demonstrate our commitment to equality and diversity.

About You
We are looking for an excellent communicator who is qualified to degree standard with the ability to work on your own initiative. As a Policy Projects Officer you will contribute to equality & diversity and council's workforce strategy while also making recommendations for improving the Council's recruitment and retention strategies. This is a varied post that would suit a confident self starter with previous experience of workplace matters in an HR context particularly in relation to the operation of staff networks, drafting policy and the role of champions.
