This is a new rolewhich will have management oversight of 3 existing teams, namely: Planning, Contracts and Property andRegeneration each led by a Principal Lawyer.
You will be the lead advisor and relationship manager for the portfolioof work undertaken by the team. You will have oversight of the work of all 3sub teams and will be able to demonstrate the skills, knowledge and experiencenecessary to lead a multi-disciplinary team, advise senior officers and Membersof the Council and command theconfidence and respect of colleagues.This post ispolitically restricted in accordance with section 2 of the Local Government& Housing Act 1989.
You must be a Qualified Solicitor/Barrister or Fellow of CILEX with substantialPQE and hold a practicing certificate.
