Thurrock Adult Community College now has the following vacancy:
The college digital vision is that technology is fully embedded in everything that we do to enhance the experience of learners and make sure they achieve their potential. We are currently undertaking a full upgrade of IT hardware and software infrastructure, moving to Windows 10, Office 2016 and migrating e-mails to Office 365. We plan to set up new systems using these functions and introducing the best solutions for our diverse needs across college to support this ambition.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in an IT support role with responsibility for first-line help-desk service and faults resolution and the ability to set up systems alongside the Vice Principal and an external IT support company that will increase the efficiency of the college through digital solutions for teaching staff, administrators and learners. You will be able to communicate on a technical and non-technical level, have an understanding of Windows 10, Office 2016 and Microsoft 365 environments and be willing to learn and assist the college in developing its IT environment and content delivery.
Occasional evening or Saturday work may also be required.
