Do you have a genuine interest in ICT?
Do you enjoy working in a team to achieve goals?
Do you have good communication skills?
If the answer is yes, then this apprenticeship may be just right for you!
We are looking for an apprentice with an enthusiastic and flexible approach to their role. You will act as the first point of contact for technical queries from employees, partner organisations and elected members and must be able to adapt your approach to ensure you provide an effective service to a range of ICT users with varying levels of knowledge.
You will also support the ICT team in a number of projects including updates to software and the continued digitalisation of Council services so the ability to work well in a team, as well as proactively, using your initiative is essential.
This is an exciting role for an enthusiastic candidate who enjoys working in a front facing environment. The apprenticeship will provide a great opportunity for you to develop your skills, build your knowledge and develop yourself as an effective ICT practitioner.
Qualifications Required: GCSE Grade A to C in English and Maths (or predicted Grades A to C) or equivalent.
