Come to work for Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and never look back!

We are an innovative and forward thinking Council that offers a good rate of pay and terms and conditions of employment for a 37 hour working week with opportunities for extra hours.

If you don’t care much for office based work then this outdoor job could be just right for you. For most of the day you would be working alone, your own boss, and yet still part of a very supportive team. It is a physically demanding job but very rewarding, providing a vital service to the Council and the local community.

We employ around 300 people and there is a great network of social activities that you can join in with and make lots of new friends and Tunbridge Wells is a great place work.

You don’t need any previous parking enforcement experience as we will train you but we do ask that you are able to engage effectively with members of the public and work colleagues, so good communication skills are very important to us.

Interested? Are you a good Communicator? Then have a look at the job description and person specification, and if you want to have an informal chat before applying online, then just give Simon a call on 01892 554191.

The post is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.

Additional benefits for this post include 22 days annual leave (increasing to 27 days after 5 years Local Government service), membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme as well as invaluable training opportunities for continuing professional development.
