We are looking for a passionate and committed public health professional to lead the Health Improvement and One You Team in Tunbridge Wells. The team are part of an innovative West Kent Health Improvement partnership with Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Malling Borough Councils and KCC. We will be delivering the Kent One You health service in the Tunbridge Wells district working with a range of other health agencies to improve health in our communities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a range of public health programmes and events as part of the wider One You Kent service to improve health and reduce health inequalities in our borough.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues within the council, voluntary, community and health sectors to ensure that health opportunities for residents and businesses are maximised. You will be an influential and strong communicator with the ability build lasting relationships, present and explain information to a variety of audiences.
The post holder will be a highly motivated individual with excellent programme management skills and an up to date knowledge of relevant health and social care policy. You will be familiar with interpreting health intelligence to assess and define the needs of local communities. Knowledge of public health, nutrition and exercise are acquired.
