An excellent opportunity has arisen within the HR team to join us from mid-June for a period of up to one year in a highly varied role.
We are looking for a flexible and motivated individual, with a background of working in a generalist HR position. You will be experienced enough to advise staff and managers on HR best practice, and will be required to assist with any employee relations issues. Knowledge of current HR legislation will therefore be essential. Development of and assistance with any HR projects as required will also be a key objective.
Further, in conjunction with an HR colleague, you will help manage the Council’s recruitment process. You will also be required to manage the sickness absence data process, involve yourself in administration of the Council’s training requirements and be part of maintaining our HR E-systems.
The successful candidate will be well organised with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be fully proficient in Microsoft Office, and have an exceptional level of personal integrity and discretion.
