This exciting and challenging role within the busy Revenues and Benefits Service at Adur & Worthing Councils will ensure that team members receive comprehensive training and support in order that service provision is consistently accurate and of the highest quality.

In addition, the post holder will collate and analyse statistics, consider changing legislation and test new software functionality to help produce, update and maintain training materials in order that the service enhances its procedures and working practices to help and improve the service provided to residents.

We are looking for an experienced individual with a good practical knowledge of Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support who is energetic and enthusiastic with a customer-focused approach.  Demonstrable training/mentoring skills, a flexible “can do” attitude, plus good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

You will be able to adapt to changing demands and pressures working to deadlines, and possess good mathematical, written and IT skills.
