37 hours per week - Annualised Hours
Temporary Contract, up to 13 months

If you answer ‘yes’ to these questions, then we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are looking for an apprentice to join our Grounds Maintenance team.
You will gain valuable work experience, work with a great team and develop your skills and knowledge by undertaking a recognised qualification; Level 2 Certificate in Local Environmental Service Skills.
In this role, you will support the maintenance of the District Council’s parks, play areas, playing fields and amenity areas ensuring that they are kept to a high standard for the public to enjoy.
You must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions, be flexible in your approach to tasks and have the ability to adapt to any changes or additions to your workload. You should have English and Maths GCSE or equivalent, the ability to read and understand instructions and, ideally, some horticultural knowledge.
