Fixed term post of one year
£18,676 inclusive of Outer Fringe Allowance per annum
37 hours per week
Working as part of the Community Partnership Team, you will assist in delivering a number of key community events and supporting promotional campaigns. You will also co-ordinate the updating several different social media outputs and assist in the delivery of publicity campaigns. Training will be given in all areas if required.
You must have hold GCSE A – C in Math’s and English or equivalent and have a good working knowledge of MS Office. You will be a good communicator and have the ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Please note: If you already hold a degree you are not eligible for this vacancy.
You will be working at some evening events and at least one Saturday a month (sometimes more during busier periods), plus occasionally on a Sunday.
The position will lead to a QFC Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Live Events and Promotion & a Level 2 Award in Principles ‘The creative and cultural sector – live events’ delivered by National College Creative Industries.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
