The Economic Development Service works with key partners to create an environment where local entrepreneurship is supported and thriving and more new businesses are choosing to call Welwyn Hatfield home. 

We are looking for an Apprentice to support the Economic Development Officer in the delivery of projects, activities and events. You will be working with a diverse range of internal and external customers/businesses and key stakeholders.

This is an extremely exciting position for someone hoping to develop their skills in business admin and who has an interest in supporting the borough’s businesses to grow.

As an Apprentice you will assist with all aspects of the Economic Development service.

It is essential you have a grade C or equivalent in English and Math’s. You must enjoy meeting new people, be organised and have good time management skills. Keen to put forward new ideas, you must also be able to work using your own initiative and be willing, on occasion to work outside of normal office hours.

Closing date for applications is 19 May 2019.

Assessments will be held on 30 May 2019.

Interviews will be held on 6 June 2019.
