Required for September 2019, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented teacher of Economics and Business Studies to join our vibrant and successful department. A TLR maybe available for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate seeking leadership opportunities with the subject and a recruitment incentive may also be available.
Results in Business Studies are excellent at the end of each key stage. In 2018, A level Economics results were 85% A*- B and 100% A*-E. In Business A level students gained 45% A*-B and 100% A* to E.
Ranelagh is an 11-18 coeducational, Anglican Academy (converter) which is oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and positive school ethos. The school has had four ‘outstanding’ OFSTED reports, with Grade 1 across all areas, but we are not complacent and as such, the provision for professional learning and development is something of which we are all very proud.
This post may be suitable for an experienced or newly qualified teacher. Potential candidates may also wish to know that our admissions policy enables the school to prioritise the admission of children of staff recruited to posts in which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.
If you have a very good knowledge and understanding of the subject and you are an excellent teacher looking to develop your career in a supportive and progressive environment, we would welcome an application from you. Opportunities for personal development are excellent.
If you are interested in learning more about the position, please contact the Headteacher via the school office, on 01344 421233 or by email, firstname.lastname@example.org. Details of the post are also available on the school website, www.ranelagh.bracknell-forest.sch.uk
Applications will be considered upon receipt.
