Crosby High School (a 138 place 11-16 school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties/complex learning difficulties) is seeking to appoint a dedicated and committed teaching assistant with a proven record of academic support for children as well as an ability to offer quality care and support to children. Experience of primary practice and / or working with pupils with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
We are looking to appoint someone with strong communication skills who recognise that the role of the TA is strongly linked to removing barriers for learning for our pupils to enable them to learn and progress academically and socially. We are looking for someone who demonstrates a deep passion in relation to the education of pupils with Special Educational Needs as the focus of the school is firmly set on providing the very best education for every pupil.
The post is very specific and is to support a Year 9 class based provision with 8 pupils with complex needs. The post is fixed term and can commence as soon as possible however the school recognise there may be a months’ notice period needed for applicants.
