Senior Advisor – Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) is about ensuring we value our people and the people we serve, whoever they are. We truly recognise the importance of ED&I and this is linked to our stated values.

This exciting role will act as the face of ED&I and has been established to help further develop our commitment to these matters. This position will play a key role in supporting and assisting in the development and implementation of ED&I strategies, policies and procedures for the Commission. You will be our key advisor in this area, helping us to ensure we go beyond our obligations under the Equality Act, and help shape and deliver on our aspirations. The role will take you across all aspects of our work, including equality impact assessments, staff training, performance, external equality accreditations and supporting our Equality and Diversity Group

You will need to be a proactive self-starter, have a keen interest in and understanding of ED&I matters, and the drive to make a real difference. As important, you will have excellent people skills, able to work collaboratively and use your influencing skills to create meaningful change with a variety of stakeholders.

This is a full-time permanent position which could be considered on a job-share basis. The role is based within our Planning, Performance and Governance Team at our London office, but you will also work closely with our Human Resources Team.

Please view the job description and person specification for further details.

If this role sounds like you then we would love to hear from you. For further information, please contact Petra Crees, Planning, Performance and Governance Manager via or telephone 020 7271 0696.

Interviews are expected to take place week commencing 17 June 2019.
