As one of our Library Manager’s you’ll find your greatness as you manage the day-to-day operation of Barton Library.
In this key role you will: manage the library on a day-today basis, you will line manage, develop and motivate Customer Service Assistants and ensure that Library Service priorities, standards and local performance targets are being achieved.
You will be part of a team that provides excellent customer service to library users including serving customers, answering enquiries and taking part in promotional events and activities. Your efforts will help us to deliver a vibrant, high quality, relevant and sustainable service by contributing to service strategy priorities and supporting the continuing modernization and transformation of the service.
Although you will be based at one library, you must be able to work flexibly at other libraries if required. The post works on a two-week timetable, including alternate Saturday’s.
Monday: OFF, Tuesday: 8.30 - 1pm, Wednesday: 11.00 - 6pm*, Thursday: 8.30 - 1pm, Friday: 8.30 - 6pm*, Saturday: 8.30 - 4pm* (*1hr lunch break)
