Assistant Team Manager - SEN/Disabled Children's Team

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Team Manager, who is prepared to commit to working in a busy children’s social work team working with children with a range of disabilities, including learning and physical. Being a successful Assistant Team Manager in the Disabled Children’s Team involves managing the performance and supervision of social workers and family support workers and contributing to a busy and developing service.

You need to be flexible and self-disciplined and will undertake the supervision and support of social workers and family support workers who are undertaking the full range of children’s social work including Child in Need, Looked After Children, Child Protection and court work.

The Disabled Children’s Team sits within Education and is part of the SEN and Learning Support Service. The Disabled Children’s Team is made up of Social Workers; Occupational Therapists; Business Support and Family Support Workers.
