The Electoral Commission is the independent body that regulates party and election finance, sets standards for well-run elections and encourages people to register to vote.  

Job Description

Procurement is a vital area within the organisation. This role is based within the finance team and provides efficient and effective commercial support and guidance to programme, project and functional teams and cross-organisational expertise for agreed areas of work. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the Commission’s business and organisational performance processes.

 You will be our key advisor in this area, helping to shape and deliver on our aspirations to set up and develop a new e-procurement system.    

Role Requirements

You will need to be a proactive self-starter, have a keen interest in and understanding of procurement matters, and the drive to make a real difference. As important, you will have excellent people skills, able to work collaboratively and use your influencing skills to create meaningful change with a variety of stakeholders.

This is a full-time permanent position which could be considered on a job-share basis and will be on a FTC basis for 18 months. The role is based within our finance and procurement team at our London office.
