Business Rates Officer

This role is within OneSource which operates across three London Boroughs. The Shared Business Rates Service is responsible for administration and collection of Business Rates for London Boroughs Newham and Havering.

£27,228  -  £33,291pa

We are currently looking to recruit a highly accomplished Business Rates Officer with knowledge in Local Government Finance Act and Non Domestic Rating. The role will involve duties from establishing Business Rates liability, setting up accounts, responding to customer enquiries within corporate timescales , maximising collection and minimising arrears.

You will need to have extensive Business Rates knowledge and experience and be able to work well with minimal supervision. You will need to have a Pro- active approach to maximising collection and reducing arrears.
