Wellbeing Advisor - Health Checks & Smoking Cessation


Salary : £20,344 pa - £22,462 pa + Car Allowance up to £1,239 pa
Full-Time Temporary fixed term to 31 March 2022

The Role

The Wellbeing Hub is part of a county-wide programme in West Sussex to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent ill-health in our local communities. The hub provides information, advice and signposts local people to services for help and support. The service for Mid Sussex is delivered by Mid Sussex District Council.

The service is currently looking to employ a Wellbeing Advisor on a temporary contract until 31 March 2022. The post holder will report directly to the Wellbeing Team Leader and provide support in promoting and delivering commissioned health projects. The post holder will be required to undertake NHS Health Checks and deliver smoking cessation advice and information to clients. Full training will be provided for this.
