TEACHER OF PSYCHOLOGY & SOCIOLOGY

For September 2019

We believe exceptional teachers transform lives, so we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Psychology and Sociology with a real passion for their subject.   The school offers a wide ranging professional development programme, support for career progression and excellent resources in a state-of-the-art building,

Our students are happy and make excellent progress. OFSTED graded the school outstanding in all areas and commented “Students have outstanding attitudes to learning and take a pride in their work”. A Level Psychology and Sociology and Level 3 Health and Social Care are all popular options in our Sixth Form.  The ability to teach two of these courses is essential, as is the willingness to contribute to other courses in the department.

Applicants should be keenly interested in how children learn, as well as committed to equal opportunities and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.

The post is suitable for either an NQT or a more experienced teacher.
