As one of our Team Managers, you will lead, support and mentor a team of social care professionals and support staff. You will work to improve the quality of professional social work practice across the breadth of the casework cycle; whilst promoting a positive working culture, maintaining the highest standards of practice; and empowering others to do the same.
You will be responsible for effective assessment and care planning as well as legal planning meetings, child care reviews, writing court reports, attending court; and the implementation of legislation, policies and procedures within your team.
You will monitor social work practices through reflective supervision; regular evidence based auditing and feedback.
You must have a DipSW or equivalent social work qualification; as well as being registered with the Health Care Profession Council (HCPC).
You should have extensive knowledge of professional social work practices and all the relevant legislation.
A proven track record of successfully managing change and service or practice improvement will also be required.
