Salary Band D, £21,589 - £24,799 per annum


We have an opportunity for a Planning Technician to join our busy Planning and Development Team. Your main responsibility will be to deal with the discharge of conditions on planning applications and alongside that there will also be an opportunity to carry out other development management duties, including dealing with minor planning applications, pre-application and permitted development inquiries and responding to enquiries from members of the public and planning agents. 

We are looking for someone who is organised with the ability able to prioritise their varying workload and make a major contribution towards the work of the Planning and Development Team. The successful candidate must have will have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
