We have a vacancy for a Senior Customer Service Assistant at Lambourn Library. Reporting to the Library Manager – Branches, you will be managing services in a busy branch library, assisted by volunteers. You will be required to be a key holder for the library and to carry out the opening and closing procedures at the start and end of each day. You will also be responsible for directing volunteers and may occasionally be required to lone work for short periods of time. The main duties will involve issuing and returning library stock, answering a wide range of enquiries, keeping the library attractively presented, carrying out routine fire checks and building health & safety procedures.
