Are you passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of people? Do you have experience of managing a team within a health or physical activity related environment? Do you have knowledge and experience of delivering interventions in partnership with health professionals? If so, then please read on, as this could be an exciting opportunity for you.


We are looking for a Team Leader to manage and lead our Health and Wellbeing Team. You’ll be responsible for co-ordinating delivery of the North West Leicestershire Health and Wellbeing Strategy, the Sport and Physical Activity Commissioning Plan, and other associated sport and health related policies and strategies. You will do this through developing sustainable partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders, effective team management, being innovative and creative in finding solutions to problems, and by having the ability to take people on a journey of improvement by conveying clear goals and visions and being able to deliver demonstrable outcomes.


You will have knowledge of local, regional and national public health issues and priorities, and experience of working with partners such as Public Health, County Sports Partnerships, and/or Clinical Commissioning Groups. You will also ideally have a knowledge of sports development.
