As a Housing Options Officer, you will work as a member of a busy housing team that has responsibility for the Common Housing Register, housing advice, managing and supporting applicants in temporary accommodation and offering clients comprehensive housing options interviews.
You will be on the frontline of housing services, offering advice and assistance to prevent homelessness, investigating and determining homelessness applications and working with other organisations and services to resolve clients’ housing problems. To achieve success, you will need to be dynamic, creative and innovative, able to work effectively with relevant agencies and have the skills to problem-solve and troubleshoot.
With excellent communication and organisational skills, you will have the ability to quickly analyse information, be capable of prioritizing your own workload whilst dealing with persistent interruptions to pre-planned work and be able to deal with highly challenging and stressful situations.
This is a fixed term position for 12 months.
Interviews will take place on 3rd and/or 4th July 2019.
