Site Maintenance Officer - 37 hours per week – Grade 4: £17,391 - £18,672 - Winsford High Street Community Primary School

Full Time Site Maintenance Officer 37 Hours Per Week - Permanent for the right candidate

The Governors of Winsford High Street Primary School are seeking to appoint a Site Maintenance Officer to join our existing site staff.

The timetable will be devised for the successful candidate, but will involve some early mornings and evening work and occasional Saturdays; the successful candidate therefore needs to have the flexibility to accommodate this.

Duties include: maintenance of the building and school grounds, carrying out repairs, liaising with contractors, cleaning of designated areas, porterage and opening and closing the school when needed including lettings outside of school hours. Candidates must demonstrate a flexible approach and have a good manner with children, parents, colleagues and visitors.

Experience of a trade would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite.

Willingness to drive/learn to drive the school minibus is desirable.

It is important to note that this is not a term time only position.

All applicants will be subject to stringent vetting procedures and will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. The position will be subject to satisfactory references.
