Following the move to bring highway operations and contracting functions back under the direct control of the Council last October, this key new managerial position has been established to help oversee the new Highway Maintenance & Street Lighting service.


We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in the management of street lighting as well as broader highway operational/ contracting functions, and the successful applicant will act as the Council's senior technical officer for street lighting overseeing the rollout of the £10M project to convert the borough's street lighting stock to LED technology.
