Contract: Permanent, Full time - 36 hours per week

Homes for Haringey will be at the forefront of delivering housing services to a new property company with the aim of assisting those in housing need.

As part of our commitment to deliver this new service we have a fantastic opportunity for a Property Manager to lead on the development of our private rented property portfolio alongside the Haringey Community Benefits Society.

The purpose of this role is to directly deliver and manage all the operational day to day services. You will be the first point of contact for tenants responsible for directly managing the letting and management of the properties. You will be a driven person with a can do attitude with the ability to work across teams and liaising with other department to deliver day to day repairs, property compliance, H&S, and voids works.

As the first point of contact for tenants and stakeholders you will need to deliver excellent customer service, consistently achieve performance, compliance and financial targets, and ensure customer expectations are well managed.

This is an exciting new position with scope to help design and build a ground breaking customer focused service, bring with you your knowledge of best practice and innovative ideas.

We are looking for a strong and independent individual with a track record of successfully implementing new and creative solutions to maximise performance within a growing property portfolio. You will have extensive housing management experience and sound knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation. You will be able to think strategically and autonomously and be able to establish and work to targets and KPI's.

You will be keen to make a positive contribution to the development of this project and to deliver an excellent service to our customers and residents. You will possess an outward looking approach with the ability to recognise and prepare for change effectively and efficiently. You will be proficient in working across teams, directorates and organisations to achieve the best outcome for our residents, Homes for Haringey and for the Council.
