We are excited to be recruiting to two Senior HR Officer positions (1 full time or 4 days a week, 1 part time 22 hours a week) to join our Adult Care Services Business Partner Team.

In the full time role you will partner with senior managers within the Adult Care Services department. You will join at an exciting time when the service is about to embark on a transformation programme, developing its strategy for the delivery of care and support going forward.

In the part time role you will partner with the Managing Director and senior management team within Herts at Home, our newly formed Local Authority Trading Company.  The Company has been established to provide care and support services within Hertfordshire and has ambitious plans to develop and grow.  As you will be supporting the Company during its infancy, this will give you a unique opportunity to help shape and develop the culture, capabilities and policies.

Using your strong relationship building skills and by developing a deep understanding of the service needs, you will work in partnership with the management team to identify the workforce priorities and enable solutions to HR issues.

Working in a supportive team, you will find your HR colleagues approachable and encouraging. You will enjoy the freedom to work flexibly to enable you to balance home life whilst meeting the demands of the service.

You will need to have some technical knowledge in employment law, managing change, and TUPE transfers, but above all we need someone with the right attitude and behaviours.  We need someone with a can-do attitude, a team player, someone with the ability to build good relationships and make good connections with senior leaders and across HR, and someone who can build credibility and act professionally to deliver good outcomes. If this sounds like you and you can demonstrate your ability to deliver in this way, then we would definitely be interested in hearing from you.

For an informal chat about the roles or any questions please contact Fehmida Cummins on 01707 292737 or Elise Callaghan 01992 556538

Closing date: Sunday 14th July 2019
Interviews: 23rd or 25th July 2019
