Community Leisure Development Officer

Community Leisure Development Officer, 21.75 hours per week, 3-year fixed term contract

Band D, £12,953 - £14,879 per annum

We’re embarking on an exciting period of development within our community leisure provision, with almost £1,000,000 of investment earmarked for facilities in Measham, Ibstock, and Castle Donington. As part of this investment, we’re looking to appoint a part-time Community Leisure Development Officer who will be responsible for supporting partners with the delivery of projects and to ensure their ongoing success. In addition, you will support the council’s Community Leisure team with the development of marketing and business plans, service level agreements, the generation and implementation of commercial initiatives along with ensuring the council’s community leisure offer complements and supports North West Leicestershire’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

In order to be successful in this role you will be flexible in your approach, creative and have the ability to build and maintain rapport with a wide variety of people. You will have experience of delivering projects, developing leisure facilities and services, and an understanding of how community leisure provision can improve the health and wellbeing of residents.
