Islington Council are currently recruiting for a Cyclical Testing Officer to work within its cyclical testing and compliance team. With an increasing workload and plans to bring an element of the works in house to improve response times, it is an exciting time for a forward thinking, conscientious engineer to join this small but developing team.
The future success of this project is reliant on the people that strive to allow the service to function efficiently, with a focus on customer care and excellence in all areas of the service delivery.

You will effectively assist the cyclical testing manager in the further development and business processes associated with the cyclical testing team.
You will ideally have supervisory experience, a sound technical knowledge of cyclical testing delivery, and the ability to manage your own time and workloads. You will be comfortable in a fast paced, challenging role, which at times will be public facing. As an inspector representing the cyclical testing team, you will be required to encourage and support the Council personnel and volunteers to deliver and maintain the cyclical testing tasks expected of them.
Additional training will include skills around customer services, equalities, safeguarding etc. Your work will be a driving influence in delivering and maintaining a high level of compliance in Islington properties.
