Lunchtime Support Staff
Permanent Contract from November 2019
(Part-time, permanent contract, £9.50 per hour)

A vacancy has arisen for a Lunchtime Support Staff team member at the school on a permanent contract to join our Lunchtime Support Team as soon as possible.
The role is to actively supervise the children inside and out during the lunchtime period. Your duties will include supporting and encouraging the children to eat together with good manners and positive social skills. Further duties will include cleaning the tables, supervising children inside whilst eating and then outside for playtime and the set-up, clearing & cleaning of the school hall ready for school activities to resume in the afternoon.
You will be joining a great team and will play an important part in the school day helping to ensure the children have enjoyed their lunchtime experience.
The role is 5 days a week, 7.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, term time only, 12noon – 1.30pm. It is paid at £9.50 per hour.

Pre–employment medical check
As a condition of the Offer of Employment, the successful applicant will be asked to complete an Occupational Health questionnaire from which our Occupational Health Advisor will assess your medical suitability to do the job. You may be required to attend a medical examination.
On your application form you will be asked to provide the names and addresses of two people who will provide a reference. At least one should be from your current/most recent employer.
Employment references must be provided by your current or most recent line manager and will not be accepted from relatives or people writing solely in the capacity of friends. However, your referees may include someone you know with standing in the community i.e. a teacher, vicar etc.
We take up references for all shortlisted candidates and wherever possible we like to apply for these prior to interview.
