Big changes. No excuses. That's what we're delivering at Wirral Council. We've got ambitious targets to meet by 2020. To achieve everything we have promised to our residents, we need people who are driven and ready to deliver the very best for our communities.

Wirral is home to vibrant, energetic and engaged communities, people who take real ownership of their local area and are passionate about making Wirral a better place.  It is a fantastic place to live, work and visit.

We are looking for a candidate to lead the council's network team within their Information, Communications & Technology (ICT) Services department.  The networking team is responsible for managing the council's entire data network, including firewalls, remote access solutions and Wifi infrastructure, which is the foundation for all other technical solutions and fundamental to the long-term delivery of the Council's key strategic ICT drivers

The successful candidate must have a strong technical background in networks and the management in complex, highly available infrastructures.  It is essential they have the ability to motivate technical teams and a passion for delivering first class customer service.
