Job requirements:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Occupational Therapists to join our Occupational Therapy and Sensory Team due to the retirement of two long serving Occupational Therapists. This team is based with Adult Social Care within Sefton Council and currently covers the whole borough of Sefton.

This is a great opportunity for motivated and committed Occupational Therapists with a range of skills and experience to strengthen our established, busy, forward-looking team with new developments on the horizon, which encourages innovative and creative practice.

Successful candidates will have a responsibility for the assessment of adults using a therapeutic approach to restore daily living skills and maximise levels of function and independence. This will include completing functional and moving and handling assessments, prescribing equipment, minor and major adaptations via the Disabled Facilities Grant process

Successful candidates must hold a Diploma or Degree qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered as an Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council.
