The Public Protection Partnership (PPP), is a joint service between Bracknell Forest Council, West Berkshire Council and Wokingham Borough Council and was formed in January 2017. It delivers focussed and high quality environmental health, trading standards and licensing service to some 470,000 residents and over 10,000 businesses.
We are looking for enthusiatic field officers to work as part of our operational team to deliver complaince and enforcement acorss the whole remit of the public protection partnership.
Two of the posts will be generic enforcement posts based at Theale, and two will be designated as licensing offiers based at Brackell Forrest Council, the posts will have an emphasis regulatory controls across environmental health, trading standards and licensing functions
The successful candidate will be involved in service delivery designed to protect the public and wider community safeguards. You will a demonstrable knowledge of the prinicpals in applying legal frameworks covering criminal investigation, audit and inspection; you will be empathetic but appropriately assertive, and a strong communicator and a good team player.
This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
