Enfield Council manages 124 parks and open spaces throughout the borough, totalling more than 900 hectares of land. The borough’s parks and open spaces are diverse in size, content and character, ranging from small urban pocket parks to the large country parks

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Parks Activities and Engagement team for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead a series of projects which improve on the quality and range of facilities within the borough’s parks and open spaces.

The successful individual will be the main point of contact for customers that would like to hire grounds for events, sports pitches and renting of allotment plots.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to work with external organisations and the community to facilitate events

  • The skill to work with and support park users to meet demands of bookings in parks

  • The ability to undertake site visits to meet and greet prospective allotment tenants and deal with complaints.

  • A calm and consistent approach, ensuring a positive customer experience
