The Governors of this happy and successful primary school seek to appoint an experienced and confident Welfare Assistant who can support a child in the Early Years with their physical needs for five days a week. We are looking for a team player who has relevant, recent experience, high expectations and a commitment to ensure that the child succeeds academically, integrates fully and achieves as much independence as possible.
Applicants should have a good standard of literacy and an interest in supporting academically able children to achieve their full potential despite physical difficulties. Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly are essential criteria for the post. A willingness to contribute positively to our team and to become involved in the wider aspects of school life is also important.
