Band D, £21,589 - £24,799 per annum, 2 year fixed term trainee contract

Our friendly, proactive and Lexcel accredited Legal Services Team has an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Solicitor to join them. This trainee post will provide the opportunity to work with both our internal and external clients alongside more senior members of staff covering the council’s contentious and non-contentious work. Areas of practice will include regulatory enforcement, planning, commercial contracts, property, information governance and local government law. You will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks, working under pressure and managing a caseload of your own with supervision from the Legal Services Team. 

In order to be considered for this role you must hold a law degree (or equivalent) and be on track to have successfully completed the Legal Practice Course by 1 September 2019.
