Executive Personal Assistant - Strategic Leadership Team

2 year fixed term contract

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue
Service that is committed and passionate about changing and saving lives. Our Service is
one of the largest combined Fire and Rescue Services in the country.
We are looking for an Executive Personal Assistant to support our Strategic Leadership
Team based at our Headquarters at the Five Rivers Health & Wellbeing Centre in Salisbury.

The successful candidate will:
• Provide primary executive support services to the Strategic Leadership Team
• Carry out research and provide findings for key reports and documents to assist in
the production and delivery of critical work
• Produce high quality documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
• Liaise with external executive management and officers both locally and nationally
• Organise, co-ordinate and minute internal and external meetings and ensure the
preparedness of the Strategic Leadership Team
You must have:
• Professional Executive PA Diploma, NVQ Level 3 in Business & Administration or
• Significant executive (Board Level) Personal Assistant experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, including Teams, PowerPoint, Word,
Excel and Outlook

You are:
• Able to engage, influence, build and maintain constructive relationships with a wide
variety of senior stakeholders both internal and external
• An unflappable and resilient character who is able to cope well in a pressurised
• Self-motivated, confident, highly efficient and dependable
• Well organised and have excellent time management skills, continuously ensuring
attention to detail and quality of work, whilst delivering against deadlines

Other Information:
• A full current driving licence
• Use of your own vehicle will be required, however a Service vehicle may be available
• You will be required to travel across both counties to attend meetings
• A Disclosure & Barring Service Check DBS Basic clearance will be undertaken on the
successful individual prior to offer of employment
• Any offer of employment will be subject to a pre-employment medical and receipt of
satisfactory references
