SC6/SC5 – Customer Service and Business Support Officer

Over the coming year we will work with our customers to set out what we want Waltham Forest to be by 2030; how that relates to the ever-changing world, and what that means for the services and infrastructure that we need to provide.
We need to make sure that everything we are doing today supports that vision, and ensure that all our interactions, support services and customer experiences are designed for the best delivery we can provide, and also help us maintain the strong financial position we have achieved. create a Council that is resident-focused, insight-led, digitally-driven and commercially-minded; a Council that can meet the needs of our existing and future residents. We are looking for the right people to make this a reality and with the Council’s strong track record of providing a variety of career pathways this is an exciting opportunity not to be missed.
These roles will sit at the heart of enabling that ambition. Our Customer Service and Business Support Officers are part of the recently established Customer Service and Business Support Directorate. There are a range of teams and roles, form our Libraries and Customer Resolution Centres, to delivering everything from social care triage to finance work, from school admissions to HR and Payroll. There are a number of roles across teams which we are considering candidates for, but as a member of the Customer Service and Business Support you will be part of a broad directorate with opportunities across a number of areas over a period of time.
