Community Coordinator (Prevention)

The post will support the Building Communities Together (BCT) Partnership and BCT Team in respect of building community resilience and raising awareness of domestic abuse, modern slavery and other hidden harm in West Berkshire.

You will be required to work with a range of partners agencies and work with communities to develop a common understanding of vulnerability and to develop community based solutions to address the issues of domestic abuse, modern slavery, female genital mutilation, honour based violence and forced marriage, radicalisation and child sexual exploitation.

You will have at least three years’ experience working in a similar environment and good experience of working in partnership with the voluntary sector.

This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
