Are you highly organised and looking for an exciting new opportunity in Programme Management? Do you enjoy supporting and mentoring teams to deliver at their best? If so, you might be the person to lead WECAs Programme Management Office (PMO). West of England Combined Authority (WECA) has a £350m programme of investment to FY22/23, and within that, significant capital projects in development, and bids for further funding with associated programmes for delivery. The development of this programme, and associated reporting, change and risk management will be the role of the newly formed PMO.
The PMO Manager will further develop and manage our regional programme, identifying dependencies, risks and opportunities in conjunction with our stakeholders and partners. This role will require strong communication and organisational skills to ensure we are monitoring and reporting across our programme to support the democratic process within the region. What gets measured, get’s managed, and the PMO Manager will work hand in hand with both Head of Capital Delivery and Head of Grant Management and Assurance to ensure we are delivering against our organisational objectives and funding assurance requirements.
This role requires cross-organisational working and will require a truly collaborative and communicative individual who can discuss complex programme challenges with a range of stakeholders.
