Civil Enforcement Officer

Civil Enforcement Officers provide parking enforcement and they are the council’s ambassadors in daily contact with our customers throughout West Berkshire.

This is a high profile job that demands knowledge, tact and initiative in a sometimes challenging environment. We offer thorough training to bring the very best out of you to ensure we provide West Berkshire with a high quality parking enforcement service.

We invite applications from self-motivated and enthusiastic persons prepared to undergo the required training. All applicants must be able to walk long distances. We provide a full range of uniform clothing and you must be prepared to work outdoors in all types of weather.

There is a 37 hour working week based on a rota system with alternating early starts and evening finishes.
