Carpenter (Multi-Skilled Posts), 37 Hours per week

Starting salary, dependant on multi skill level – Level 0: £22,036.00; Level 1: £24,329.00; Level 2: £25,818.00 including tool allowance.

Additional annual laundry allowance £49.56

Progression from starting salary is paid through our Pay and Productivity Agreement.

 

We are seeking a motivated person to join our In-House Repairs Team to carry out repairs to our housing stock across the district. You will be joining a busy team that undertakes all types of maintenance / building works across a diverse range of occupied and vacant properties. Ideally we are looking for a multi-skilled operative to carry out associated repairs during their visit. 

The ability to work within a customer focused team and impact on people in a positive way is essential. We encourage people to use their initiative and find new ways to reach our goals. You must hold a NVQ / City in Guilds Level 2 or an industry recognised equivalent in carpentry and joinery or approximately 5 years time served, must have a working knowledge of the relevant health and safety legislation and be able to demonstrate safe working practices, and hold a full driving licence.
