Class Teacher (Year 5) - 0.6 FTE (Monday to Wednesday)
Fixed Term: January 2026 - August 2026 (with the possibility of extension)
Salary: M1- M4
The Governing Body of Greasby Junior School, working in partnership with Oak Trees Multi Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and skilled Year 5 Teacher to join our caring and committed Key Stage 2 team from January 2026.
We are looking for a teacher who:
Is a reflective and engaging practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.
Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge across the KS2 curriculum.
Has experience of effective teaching, learning and assessment strategies that promote good progress for all.
Builds strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
Values inclusion and is committed to supporting children with SEND and disadvantaged pupils.
Understands the importance of creating a rich, stimulating and safe learning environment.
Brings warmth, flexibility, a sense of humour and a genuine love of teaching.
Experience of teaching using the Maths ¿ No Problem! mastery approach and an understanding of Tom
Sherrington¿s work on questioning and retrieval would be advantageous.
