Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Salary: £23,656 - £24,413 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 30hrs 50mins
Location: Chawson First School
Fixed Term until 31st August 2027

- Flexibility, creativity and the confidence to think on your feet
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills – training will be provided
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing 1:1 support for a named child, through personalised activities
• Supporting learning and social development during lessons, interventions and playtimes
• Helping to deliver adapted provision in a quiet space or outdoor learning environments
• Working closely with teachers, our SENCO and outside agencies
• Contributing to the “assess, plan, do, review” cycle, supporting individual targets and work towards EHCP outcomes where necessary.

Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
